Ah, the S**er B**l. Many brands plan for months and spend millions of dollars to get in on the Big Game. It’s expensive and time-consuming, but, it’s the S**er B**l. So when Denny’s wanted to find a way to get in on the action, we knew we had to think smarter, faster, and cheaper than anyone else.
But, in true Denny’s style, this wouldn’t be your typical ‘spot’ at the S**er B**l. Oh no. Working with Denny’s, we purchased a spot…. “A parking spot” outside the stadium. Our team then built and assembled a Denny’s booth with all of the trimmings, that would fit into a rental truck, all in-house for the occasion. We outfitted a truck with our booth, a brave crew, hidden signage and headed to Miami to give America’s Diner a prime place outside the stadium at America’s biggest televised game. To tease out our “Big Game Spot”, we tweeted out 2 days in advance of the game “Tune in on 2.2.2020”, to spark follower interest and leave them guessing what we had planned. On game day, we captured and pushed out the reveal video on all social channels to let fans in on our joke. This “Big Game Spot”, was executed for a fraction of the price and within only five days total build time. Talk about a Grand Slam®.
